best homemade Mac and cheese

Creamy and delicious mac and cheese is sure to please gluten and dairy free friends and family at the next potluck! 

Macaroni and cheese is a comfort food that everyone can enjoy!
 
Ingredients:
Directions:
1. Prepare gluten free pasta as directed on package.
2. Heat dairy free butter in large sauce pan until melted.
3. Add flour, salt pepper, garlic powder, onion powder and stir constantly and cook until bubbly.
4. Remove from heat and add oat milk. Bring back to heat, stir continuously.  Bring to a boil and continue to stir for 1 minute  
5. Remove from heat and crumble goat cheese into the sauce pan.
6. Stir until melted and incorporated.
7. Add cooked noodles and stir.
8. Serve immediately and Enjoy!

Notes: 
  • For an added delisiousness sprinkle crumbled bacon on top of mac and cheese.
  • Aldi's Gluten Free spiral pasta works well in this dish.
  •  Don't over cook pasta.
  • You can substitute 1/4 cup of finely chopped onion for the onion powder and saute in the butter before adding flour and seasoings.
