Cinnamon: Aromatic and Health-Boosting Spice

Cinnamon not only adds a cozy warmth to your culinary creations but also provides a range of health benefits. This fragrant spice has been celebrated for centuries due to its antioxidant and anti-inflammatory properties, supporting overall well-being. It may help regulate blood sugar levels and improve insulin sensitivity, making it particularly beneficial for those managing diabetes or blood sugar imbalances. Including cinnamon in your diet may also aid digestion, support heart health, and even boost cognitive function.


Why use Cinnamon Bark Vitality oil instead the spice?

Our Cinnamon Bark essential oil is known for its immune-boosting properties and its ability to support healthy digestion.  Our essential oils are so concentrated just a few drops are needed in a recipe.  The punch of flavor is second to none!  I love that essential oils last much longer than the spices themselves when stored in a cool dark place.



Almond Flour: Nutrient-Packed and Gluten-Free

Almond flour serves as a fantastic alternative to traditional wheat flour, especially for individuals with gluten sensitivities or those following a gluten-free diet. This finely ground nut-based flour is nutrient-dense, providing a significant source of healthy fats, vitamin E, protein, and minerals like magnesium and potassium. These nutritional powerhouses contribute to supporting heart health, maintaining healthy cholesterol levels, reducing inflammation, and promoting appropriate blood sugar control. Almond flour's nutty flavor elevates the taste of our brownies.  


Cacao Powder: Treat for Your Taste Buds & Your Health

The rich and intense flavor of cacao powder, derived from the cacao bean, is the secret ingredient that takes our brownies to the next level. Besides its delectable taste, cacao powder also offers a wealth of health benefits. It is packed with powerful antioxidants, which help protect the body against oxidative stress and inflammation. Additionally, cacao powder is a natural mood booster, as it contains compounds like serotonin and phenylethylamine that promote feelings of happiness and well-being. Moreover, it's a fantastic source of minerals, such as iron, magnesium, and zinc, contributing to optimal bodily functions.















Cinnamon Infused Almond Flour brownies

Ingredients 
  • 2/3 Cup Melted Dairy Free butter
  • 3 Drops Cinnamon Vitality 
  • 1 tsp Homemade Vanilla Extract
  • 1/4 Cup Plus 2 Tablespoons of Sugar in the Raw
  • 1/4 Cup Brown Sugar
  • 2 Eggs
  • 1/4 Cup Plus 2 Tablespoons of Cacao Powder or Cocoa Powder
  • 1 1/2 Cups Almond Flour
  • 1/2 Cup Enjoy Life Chocolate Chips
  • optional pinch of Flake Salt

Instructions
1.  Preheat the oven to 350*.
2.  Line 8 x 8 baking dish with parchment paper.  Use chip clips to keep the paper in place while filling the dish.
3.  In a glass measuring cup melt dairy-free butter alternative in the microwave for about 30-35 seconds. 
4. In a large mixing bowl stir together melted dairy-free butter alternative and cinnamon vitality essential oil. Infusing your butter will make for an even distribution of yummy flavor throughout the brownies.
5.  Add vanilla, sugars, and eggs and stir to combine.
6.  Next add cacao powder and almond flour and mix well.
7. Pour the batter into the baking dish.  Top with chocolate chips and a pinch of flake salt. The flake salt brings out more of the chocolate flavor.
8. Bake for 25 minutes.  The toothpick should come out almost clean.  
9. Allow the brownies to cool in the baking dish for at least 10 minutes before transferring them to a wire rack to cool completely.
10. Once cooled, cut the brownies into squares and serve. Enjoy the rich and decadent flavors of these cinnamon-infused chocolate brownies.
11. Store any leftovers in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 3 days, or in the refrigerator for up to a week.

It is really important that you know, the quality of your essential oils matters. You can NOT use just any store oils you find!
