Ingredients 


Directions 
1.  Chop, peel, and core the apples.
2.  Combine the cranberries, water, and apples in a medium saucepan.  Bring to a boil, reduce heat, and cook everything down until the apples are soft and the cranberries have burst.
2.  Measure out the maple syrup and add the vitality oils into the syrup. 
3.  Pour maple syrup mixture over the cran apples and stir to incorporate.
4. Serve compote hot or cold over pancakes, oatmeal, chicken or pork dishes for a beautiful bright-colored side dish.

A quick blitz with a handheld blender or food processor will take the compote to a wonderful Cran Apple Dip that pairs well with gluten-free pretzels, cinnamon pita chips, or apple slices.
