Eggs: Farm-fresh, if possible—the yolks are richer and nothing beats the freshness.

Lemon Vitality Oil: Concentrated lemon flavor that needs just a few drops. Remember, not all essential oils are created equal, and safe ingestion is key. Learn more about the oils I use.

Lavender Vitality Oil: A little goes a long way! Be cautious not to overdo it, or it can taste soapy.

Can I Make These Cookies Ahead of Time?

Absolutely! I often bake these cookies a day in advance and pop them in the freezer once cooled. This hides them from my family—and myself—because they are irresistible!

Freezing the Cookies

If you can get them to last, these cookies freeze beautifully. Store them in a freezer-safe dish or zip bag for up to 3 months. Honestly, we enjoy eating them straight from the freezer just as much as fresh off the baking sheet.
